"I'm the kind of girl that'll tell myself I'm going on a diet, while eating KitKat bar"

WHO DOESN'T LIKE KITKAT TASTE? I know the title of the post sounds weird "Home-Made KitKat! But it's real! Recently, me and my mum keep trying to do new recipes at home in our spare time, this time we came up with new idea with a very delicious taste! Well, If you like the KitKat Bars that you get from the store, you’ll really love these!

*Ingredients:
60 buttery crackers (or use some wafers if you want)
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly-packed 1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cup graham crackers, crushed
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter

*Steps:
Mix the butter, sugar and milk together in the saucepan.
Add the crushed graham crackers to the saucepan.
Continue to boil for an additional 5 minutes.
Take out some of the buttery crackers. Arrange them across the base of the baking pan. Pour about half of the boiled mixture over these crackers.
Pour the remainder of the mixture over these crackers.
Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter into another dish.
Microwave this mixture on high for 30 seconds (or until the chips are mostly melted).
Pour this second mixture over the butter cracker mixture, until the crackers and boiled mixture are completely covered.
Let the Kit-Kat bars cool. Then refrigerate them until they are firm. Cut or snap into finger length slices as needed.

  • *TipIf giving as a gift, wrap in foil, then add a paper wrapper around it, in the old-fashioned wrapping style once used for commercial KitKats, It's effective and pretty.
