"I'm the kind of girl that'll tell myself I'm going on a diet, while eating KitKat bar"

WHO DOESN'T LIKE KITKAT TASTE? I know the title of the post sounds weird "Home-Made KitKat! But it's real! Recently, me and my mum keep trying to do new recipes at home in our spare time, this time we came up with new idea with a very delicious taste! Well, If you like the KitKat Bars that you get from the store, you’ll really love these!

*Ingredients:
60 buttery crackers (or use some wafers if you want)
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly-packed 1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cup graham crackers, crushed
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter

*Steps:
Mix the butter, sugar and milk together in the saucepan.
Add the crushed graham crackers to the saucepan.
Continue to boil for an additional 5 minutes.
Take out some of the buttery crackers. Arrange them across the base of the baking pan. Pour about half of the boiled mixture over these crackers.
Pour the remainder of the mixture over these crackers.
Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter into another dish.
Microwave this mixture on high for 30 seconds (or until the chips are mostly melted).
Pour this second mixture over the butter cracker mixture, until the crackers and boiled mixture are completely covered.
Let the Kit-Kat bars cool. Then refrigerate them until they are firm. Cut or snap into finger length slices as needed.

  • *TipIf giving as a gift, wrap in foil, then add a paper wrapper around it, in the old-fashioned wrapping style once used for commercial KitKats, It's effective and pretty.

COLD DAYS What could be better than relaxing in your cozy home, drinking tea, reading magazines, watching T.V and your brain isn't having any information?! Well, thanks God I'm enjoying my holiday, no more stress, no more studying for the next 3 weeks. Today, I'd love to share with you this photo for the Chestnut I had last days (I played with the edit for this picture so it's looks like a paint), personally, I don't like it's taste, I think having Potato instead of it it's much better! How about you? :)

FREEDOM

HAPPINESS IS HAVING FINISHED ALL YOUR EXAMS So happy that yesterday I finished my final exams and I finished this looong semester! It was really long one because of the delay that happened because of the snow storm last December 2013. 23 days of freedom I'm going to spend them in preparing new posts for the blog, shooting and having some rest time.
Wish you all a happy weekend xoxo :)

Monday, January 13, 2014

ARABIAN FOOD If you're following me on Twitter or Instagram then you would know that I was preparing for new post for this week which it's going to be about food! As I promised you, 2014 will be a new fresh year for the blog, and here is the first new way of photo-shooting and serving the dishes, hopefully you will like it!

The first dish for this year will be Green Beans, it's one of my favorite dishes so far. Green beans are called Lubiyeh in Arabic, and are most often stewed with tomatoes like this. My mother is such a fantastic cooker or let me say CHEF, last week I had the chance to have some free time and joined her in kitchen watching her cook.

*Ingredients:
tablespoons vegetable oil
lbs beef round roast, cubed
onions, diced
1/2 cup water
lbs fresh green beans, trimmed and halved
1 1/2 teaspoons allspice
teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce) can canned tomatoes, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

*Steps:
-Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat; brown the beef in the hot oil for 10 minutes.
-Stir in the onions and 1/2 cup water; cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-Mix the green beans, allspice, pepper, and salt into the mixture; cover and simmer another 15 minutes.
-Add the tomatoes and tomato sauce; cover with water; cover and simmer another 30 minutes.

THAT SMILE :D Say hello to my newest mini toothpaste! I've been always looking for a toothpaste that can help me to have white teeth (since I'm kind of persons who drink a lot of Tea, Coffee & Nescafe in order to keep awake while studying especially in exams period). However all the toothpastes have the same advertisement about that it can gives you a white teeth in couple of days bla bla bla, but I only found out that close-up is such a true one which can helps you in having white teeth in short time. I recommended :)

CHRISTMAS MOOD: ON!

Saturday, January 04, 2014

I WANT MORE HOLIDAYS! It is quite insane how fast time flies. It feels even quite stressful and scary sometimes I must say… but also extremely fascinating isn’t it? Looking back at all the experiences and goals achieved in 2013, I can’t be anything but happy and proud yet also so motivated and excited for all the things to come.

I'm must admit that I L-O-V-E Christmas spirit; how do people celebrate it, preparing the sweets, exchange gifts... etc and I'm such a lucky girl to have Christian friends like mine who brought to me some cookies and sweets too! I spent the last days in fill my self with sugar and reading magazines (I'll make sure to do special post about them, I found out some quite stuff I'd love to share them).
