Julianne Hough's braid inspired me to make "My Twins" for today, her braid looks like the same one we have in stardoll (8500 starpoints). I found that I got the same eyebrow, nose and lips but I'm not sure about eyes!

Cannes Film Festival 2012

The Cannes Film Festival is a 12 day event in France that runs from May 16 - 27. Although the films are getting plenty of attention, everyone is watching what the celebs are wearing. The festival is all about taking big fashion risks but unfortunately quite a few celebs already fell flat with their fashion picks. So... here are some of the best dressed celebrities who were sparkling in the festival.

MY DAYS IN KITCHEN

 My first days in kitchen was long and so hard, who said working in the kitchen is like a piece of cake? It's really hard and you can't resist the delicious smell that It's came out from cooking. Last week, I had the opportunity (for the first time in my life) to join the kitchen and to know some secrets of making food from my mum. I made different dishes like Oregano Pastries, Fried Potato, Tamreeh, Marinated Aubergine and Vermicelli Soup.


 First Dish: Zaater (Oregano) Pastries فطائر الزعتر الأخضر 
It's mixed of  Nabulsi Cheese,Pregano and Onion, It's really delicious dish

Second Dish: Fried Potato بطاطا مقلية
 Who doesn't like the crispy and salty flavor?

Third Dish: Tamreeh تمرية
It's a traditional dessert from my county Palestine - Nablus, we called it Tamreeh or Dates but it doesn't has Dates because of  the poor economical conditions in Palestine. At the beginning we fried the pudding then we added the sugar to gave it that sweet flavor, I think you must try it ;)

Fourth Dish: Marinated Aubergine متبل باذنجان
I think I've posted about this dish before, well it's not my favorite dish to eat but it has a good taste for breakfast at the morning with Onion and green Pepper.

Cupcake kisslock purse from Fluff inspired me to make this post when I saw it in EVIL PANDA for 30 starcoins, I think it's quite cute and lovely but it's little bit expensive in real life because it's for 6.30, don't you think so? After some researches I found out that there is another sizes of purses with different patterns like cupcake or shoes or dogs. I love this kind of purses, I would like to buy the shoes pattern, I think it's suitable for makeup.

Hello readers! I would like to apologize for not posting the Covergirl Dish Winner recently. I am getting ready for graduation, and at the moment I have 7 projects! YES SEVEN! AHH! Plus my final exams are in two weeks, so I will post the winner ASAP!

MuseumMile Exhibition

 

A tour to Museum Mile Spring Exhibition 2012 in our virtual world "Stardoll" was wonderful and so much useful, I got many information about it especially I haven't got the time before to read about it! The exhibition contains statuettes inspired from several countries and it also has different designs of cups, bags and posters. Personally, I find some pieces are very interesting because they combine real pieces from three different pop art artists: Yayoi Kusama, David Hockney and Damien Hirst. 

Anyway, let's move now to the outfits which was based on Oversized Gown Top from Voile with black leggings, I thought that wearing Bow Front Heel with Rose Lacquered Purse would give the look that feminine look as I'm used to live in that PINKISH world which has princes and princesses! Gold is the best to shine between the statutes and the paintings, so, I wore multi chain necklace with old hotbuys skull earrings.

GRADUATION

Finally I graduated, the moment that I've waited for, finally arrived. After 12 years of hard work, I was able to reach that day. My 12 years in the school wasn't that easy, I've faced the most ferocious foes, problems that strengthen, experiences that teach, and pressure that motivates. In April, my classmates decided to took photos for us shaped as "2012". I still remember that the weather was so cold, we were freezing!!  

In 9.May.2012 some of my friends were graduated, well I didn't go to the graduation for some reasons. First of all, I don't believe in graduation before getting my grade. Secondly, I must admit, each event carried out by my school failed! and that's what happened, Princess Alya Al-Taba'a, which was supposed to attend the graduation didn't come. 
I borrowed the graduation's uniform from my friend, then i made fancy makeup for my eyes with red lipstick from REVLON and wearing high heel from CONCORDE. I took some sweet photos will be in my memory forever.

Molecular Gastronomy

Thierry Marx the French chef who won 2 awards "Michelin Stars", took my eyes yesterday while i was watching TopChef Middle-East Version, yesterday Marx was the guest in the episode, he started talking about "molecular gastronomy" and he did some experiments using Nitrogen N2 and Hydrogen H2 too, it's all about Physics and Chemistry. At the beginning i was saying: What the hell is talking about? i didn't understand it because i haven't heard before about molecular gastronomy but when he finished i realized it's a wonderful way to cook without using gas or fridge even it's hard and it's need to wake up your brain! 

Molecular gastronomy is a modern style of cooking, which is practiced by both scientists and food professionals in many professional kitchens and labs and takes advantage of many technical innovations from the scientific disciplines.

HAWAIIAN COCKTAIL

A toast to all the bunnies out there! Those who were famous during my time and now almost forgotten for the new characters that have taken over the world of classic fairy tales, classic book characters and toons. Where have all the cute cuddly creatures gone? and people wondering why our society is getting more violent. Duh ._. 

Anyway, yesterday the weather was little but cloudy which makes me feel I'm not okay! I was bored and I didn't want to study for my Arabic exam because i had to memorize 2 Arabian poems in the classical language which it so hard for me! So.. I've decided to make Cocktail with my mum using Carrots and Apple. We put cold Water, Milk, Sugar,Vanilla and Cocoa with small slices of Carrots and Apples all together in Moulinex Blender (The magical machine).

I'd like to give the cup an Hawaiian background so i added 2 slices of Carrots on the top on the cup and some fresh Carrots jam .
